Amanda is a proud mother of two boys, ages 12 and 16, who are dedicated football players and wrestlers. She has been married for 20 years to her husband, the Head High School Football Coach and Regional Hospitality Director in Moab, Utah. Life at home is rounded out with Daisy, her beloved Corgi.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys hiking the breathtaking Utah mountains, vacationing in New Orleans, wine tasting, swimming, exploring new places, designing, and cooking and baking for her family.

Amanda grew up in rural Iowa, surrounded by a strong Dutch immigrant community. Her ancestors came from Holland in the 1800s, carrying with them the values that still guide her today: hard work, family first, honesty, humility, and integrity.
